Excel at Embroidery

It is impossible to shop on the high-street this season without being swarmed by mounds of Embroidery. From embroidered tops, shoes, bags and jackets the trend is most definitely here to stay! However, I have noticed a lot of the embroidered items out there are on denim, which is fab, but they all seem to be the same red rose embroidery. I have had a look around the shops to find some of the best embroidered items, including our trusty denim favourites, but no red rose, denim mixes in sight!

Embroidered Jeans.jpgEmbroidery and denim go together, as Forrest Gump would say, like peas and carrots! The pair compliment each other perfectly, the embroidery adds another element and texture to your trusty pair of jeans. I am loving these embroidered Mid Rise Jeans from Zara, the cobalt blue, mixed with light blue, light pink and green work wonderfully. These jeans are subtle and I am loving the raw hem. These would look wonderful in the summer with a cute t-bar sandal.

Denim Embroidery

Sticking with the denim theme, as I mentioned earlier the mix always seems to be the big, bright red rose, and whilst I love this look, sometimes it is nice to see something a little different. I have found this great embroidered denim mini skirt from Topshop and this fab find from Matalan for only £28, it also has that raw hem detailing that I love!

Embroidered Dress

This Yellow Embroidered Dress from New Look, is perfect for those cool Spring evenings. The birds and butterflies detailing adds that extra something rather than just the florals. Pair this dress with a gorge pair of tan ankle boots for that boho festival vibe.

Forever 21.jpg

This fabulous coral shade is perfect for those crisp summer nights out in the beer garden. I love the lace detail on the back, it makes it more than just a causal top. I’d pair this beaut embroidered number, with a pair of white jeans and a cute sandal.

Embroidered Shirt.jpg

A pin stripe shirt is versatile for a great day to night transition look. Instead of sticking with the basic blue pin strip, this lovely embroidered Floral Bird shirt from Missy Empire is perfect for that brunch to bar vibe. I’d team this shirt with your best pair of skinny jeans, and a pair of wedges.

Lipsy Biker

What better way to update your leather than with some gorge floral embroidery. I am a huge fan of this cute faux leather biker jacket from Lipsy, it is £85 which is quite pricey for a faux leather, but with that detailing it’s worth it!

I always find myself searching for sandals on ASOS, I find that their footwear is great quality but also really affordable. Nothing says summer quite like an espadrille, add a touch of embroidery and a tie up and they are the perfect summer sandal.

So what are you waiting for? Head to the shops (or your laptop) and add some embroidery to your wardrobe. You can find all of the direct links to the products shown below!
